WebApr 12, 2024 · The public wasn't interested in expensive low quality glowing betta fish so they sat on shelves for several months. The GloFish company wasn't making money off them because of that so they discontinued the entire line. What's left is it forever. WebIts much better to buy them from a local fish store. I understand that petsmart has lots of fish and there are bound to be a few sick ones BUT if you cant take care of that many fish properly then they shouldnt at all. Buying fish from petsmart is risky - if the fish you buy doesnt die it could be sick and spread diseases throughout your tank.
